Where imagination takes flight

What we do

Ages 1

Ages 1-3

The early preschool program at The Birdhouse School is designed to foster exploration, creativity, and early learning through a nature-inspired curriculum. Coming from a Waldorf-trained background and inspired by RIE principles, our nurturing environment and engaging activities support the development of essential skills. We emphasizes  respectful caregiving,  growing confidence in capacities and nurturing imagination, creating a warm and supportive space for young children to thrive

Ages 3-5

At The Birdhouse School, preschoolers engage in a blend of Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia inspired activities that encourage imagination, social interaction, and cognitive development. We prioritize hands-on learning experiences within a safe and loving environment.

Parent Portal

Our Parent Portal provides access to accident reports, schedules, and information about our teachers. It's a convenient way for parents to stay connected and engaged in their child's daycare experience.

Parent Reviews

Lizzie is one of those teachers whose calm presence creates an immediate sense of safety for the little ones. As a talented artist, she designs beautiful natural spaces that spark creativity and curiosity.  As a fellow primary educator, I can honestly say that Lizzie is “the real deal.” She is organized, responsible, and incredibly talented. I have been begging her to start her own preschool for years and am thrilled to hear she has finally done so! My only regret is that my own children are now too old to attend.
